Technical Conditions - PETROMIX®

DESCRIPTION

PETROMIX® is the strongest soluble detergent available. It is an organic compound free of metal or other catalysts. PETROMIX® consists of liquid molecules, fully synthesized through chemical conversion resulting in a surfactatnt of incomparable efficiency. It prevents sludge formation, helps to overcome combustion problems in residual fuel operation, provides a more even atomization pattern and, therefore, makes it possible to use lower viscosity grade fuels.

PETROMIX® provides cleaner combustion, evident from the decreasing tendency toward soot formation and coke deposit at the scavenge ports. This cleaner combustion process keeps the dispersant pattern of the cylinder lubricant in proper condition.

PETROMIX® is a molecule liquid in itself, does not require solvent carriers but remains a hunders percent active compound. The fully automatic manufacturing process eliminates any risk of variation in quality.

APPLICATION

PETROMIX® is useful in the following applicantions:

DISPERSANT ACTION:
PETROMIX® disperses oil-insoluble impurities, which would otherwise clog screens and plug filters and nozzles by agglomeration.

DETERGENT ACTION:
PETROMIX® removes sludge and varnish-like deposits from storage tank walls, ducts and injector needles by means of a strong polar bond attached to every impure particle. Further adhesion and /or agglomeration are effectively prevented.

SATABILIZLNG ACTION:
PETROMIX® prevents the segregation of "mixed-up" heavy grade diesel fuel which contains residuel fuel components like bunker oil.

WATER REMOVING ACTION:
PETROMIX® is soluble in oil. It eases water dispersion into the very small droplets making the burning process better. In light grade diesel fuel water haze formation resulting from entrained moisture is minimized.

ANTI-CORROSIVE ACTION:
PETROMIX® protects your plant to a large extent against acid and salt-water corrosion by forming a firmly adherent layer of oil and PETROMIX® molecules.

PACKING:

PETROMIX® is supplied in 20 liter plastic cans or 200 liter drums. Smaller packing available according to customer requirement at extra cost. Labels: PETROMIX®.

HANDLING & SAFETY:

PETROMIX® is added directly to the fuel tank through the sounding pipe or vent line. PETROMIX® then spreads automatically during refuelling. The use of dosage equipment or fuel circulating devices as not required. The non-recurring addition for each refueling is simple, clean and quick.

PETROMIX® contains no metal catalysts and cannot be extracted from oil in the separator nor be decomposed by water or other foreign matter in the fuel. PETROMIX® in oil is impervious to temperatures upto 240°C. PETROMIX® is chemically stable and can, therefore, be stored indefinitely.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:

ISS label: Not required. Avoid splashing.
If SKIN contact does occur: Wash affected areas with soap and water.
